MCO help
Hey guys I'm desperate need of your help and wisdom.
My sister is getting marry tomorrow right outside Orlando, and my original plan was to flight out this morning on DL1462 LAX-MCO already being upgraded. But due to some work schedule snafu

I have to attend a meeting at 8:45 in downtown LA...And I know for a fact I won't make that 9:40 am departure. My question to you guys what do you recommend me to do take a flight through ATL or DTW or just wait for the redeye flight LAX-MCO and risk it something might go wrong and just rent a car and drive to the wedding site...And I'm the made of honor...and I have to check a bag with my dress inside...Guys I need your advise and help thanks

Likely the LAX-MCO red eye will be fine but for such an important occasion I'd be nervous as well.
If something goes wrong on the red eye there is a 10:45p, 11:35p to ATL which would get you into MCO Saturday around 9am. Also there is a 10:33P LAX-RDU-MCO which has more availability and probably a better UG chance for a more comfortable red eye but no lie flat seats on this route.
So either way you have you options if something goes wrong. If anything does go wrong with your flight(s), tell delta what you want rather than letting them dictate to you which flights to put you on. the automatic re-book is rarely the most ideal flight in the case of MX or WX.

Forget worrying about an UG, geez his sister is getting married tomorrow. OP, get there any way you can.
Only problem with the LAX-MCO redeye is what if it fails to go? A short delay is one thing but missing that flt may well mean missing the wedding.
Just get to ATL. There is a regular shuttle ATL-MCO. Miss one, you get on the next one.
And congrats to your sister.
