Is AMEX spend tracked real tome?

On the "front page" of delta.com my card spend shows $0-1K. When I click on My Delta it shows $1-2K and states below that this is as of JAN 14 2014. I opened the card this month, and the RDMs and MQMs for meeting the $2K spend posted today.
