Flight from.....
Need to vent....
On delta flight SEA-DTW. Leaving Saturday at 12:35.
Error 1... They post on the board that it was departing from B7 instead of original S8. They also posted the incorrect flight number of 8870 instead 8770. One of the pilots even came to there.
The pilot called someone and told us it was wrong.
Error 2....Since we were in B we first try to go to the B tram game but it was closed for the night. So we have to walk all the way back to the A gate for the tram to S.
Error 3... Should start boarding around midnight but they say they were missing a flight attendant. They then say a flight attendant was there but was missing something ( unsure what--didn't say). Then about 15 minutes later they say they have to get one from home thus a potential 90 minute delay. Some were going to miss connections.
To be continued.......

Reminds me of a delay 3 years ago SEA-MSP. They needed a pilot and one was woken up and drove on out (redeye Departure that was several hours late). At least I was upgraded ^

Flight is showing as arriving a couple hours late with 9:32AM arrival, instead of 7:43AM scheduled. Hardly the end of the world if you miss your connection as there will likely be a number of options to get you home today. If you've never had a 2 hour delay before you've had a pretty charmed existence.

I fly in and out of Seattle every week. The flight was probably originally scheduled to depart from B but was changed to the S gates when a slot opened up over there. Not an error, just capacity change. I'm confused about the train - it runs in a loop from the main terminal to the end of the B gates to the S gates and back again. I've never had it not stop at the B gates. Was the escalator/elevator blocked to prevent you from going down there?

This was an actual error given the 12:30 am departure. It's my understand it was the port of Seattle doing.
I have flown on red eyes numerous times on Delta. They have all departed from S terminal. Part of the reason they do that is because the restaurants/shops are designed to be open longer than other parts f the airport.
The flight came in around 9:30. It was barely enough to make the connection.
We arrived around A10 (old NW terminal) then took the tram upstairs to mid terminal then took the tunnel to C, then to the gate of C21.
They boarded most of the flight when we got there.
They person seated next to us on the SEA-DTW was also on the connection to Buffalo.
In Seattle they actually pulled out the fod frm the plane and then set up a table for juice/soda/water and peanut/pretzel/shortbread cookies.

I was actually at SEA yesterday, taking the train from B to S and noticed a sign saying that train would not run at B between some late hour and some early hour (don't recall...think midnight - 4 am, but can't be positive). So, it appears that perhaps they just make it go between A and S during that time.
I think it shut down around 11oo or so at B. Got to the S gate around midnight.

DL 1542 (1055pm SEA-JFK) departed from B9 on Sat 7 Dec ... when I booked SJC-LAX-SEA to finish up the MR, I decided that 37-min connections were too risky in terms of getting overhead space (esp off a CR9 at LAX where I'd most likely have to wait for a pink-tag rollaboard) and decided to take advantage of pay-with-miles for the buyup to G ... DL 2410 from LAX parked at S7 at about 1030 which indeed would have been problematic; however it turned out to be moot as I had been able to SDC to the earlier SJC-LAX and LAX-SEA flights (and kept FC seats on both)
