JFK Terminal 4 Regional Jet Gates

Hello,

I haven't flown out of T4 in some time and won't in the near future. However, I was just wondering if anybody could tell be the status of the 11 regional gates being constructed. Has all of the steel gone up or are they just starting construction? Thank you for your responses.

When the project was announced earlier this year, the target completion date was stated as summer 2015. However, at investor day a few weeks ago, Ed Bastian remarked that the facility should be open by the end of 2014.

I was in JFK Terminal 2 on Friday night 12/20 around 1900. The terminal was packed; I was watching the carnage at what used to be Gate 23, one of the two regional jet "gates", from the window of the SkyClub.

Our mainline flight from PHX had rolled by Terminal 4 on the way to the renumbered Gate C63 in Terminal 2, and most definitely there is a steel skeleton for the new regional jet gate extension at T4.

Flew JFK-IAD yesterday (26-Dec) and took some photos for y'all of the regional jet extension ... can't come quick enough. Sorry they are not that clear, was a dirty window on the ERJ145.
