Miles tracker question

Sorry if this is a silly question.

I am currently at 29K MQMs for this year. On logging in to DL.com, it says 'Complete one (symbol of a blue plane) for Gold Medallion.'

Presumably, this means one trip, but of what description? Is it literally 'do one round trip and you're gold' or is DL not that kind? I'm based in the UK, so MQD requirements thankfully don't apply to me (yet.)

Thanks.

It's complete one of the following: MQM or MQS. So, it means either increase the 29k miles to 50k to meet MQM or x number of segments to 60 MQS to meet MQS.

Ah, and there was I, thinking DL were being nice and offering me an easy way to keep gold. Oh well, thanks for clarifying.

In other words, unless you have flown a lot of short segments, get ready to fly 21k+ to get to gold.
