Fly Delta app for Android and iPhone update
As some of you may have already noticed, today we released updates to both the Android and iPhone versions of the Fly Delta app. Here’s what’s new in version 2.2:
We added a new look for SkyMiles and Delta Sky Club membership cards. Now you can access your membership cards directly from My Wallet in the My Delta section. With this addition, you now have an electronic version of your cards on your phone at all times when you travel. This feature should be available for iPhone Passbook in a future release. Note: when you’re on a Delta partner-operated flight or at one of our partner lounges, it’s still a good idea to bring your physical cards with you.
eBoarding passes can now be accessed directly from My Trips even if you check-in from delta.com or an airport kiosks. eBoarding passes are now available at more than 100 airports worldwide. Visit delta.com/app for the full list.
For iPhone users, we’ve corrected an issue with location services for the Facebook arrival notification. We heard your feedback and this should make things better.
You will also notice that we’ve made some additional performance enhancements and bug fixes on stuff many of you have reported on both iPhone and Android versions of the app. We expect to have another release soon with even more updates.
Enjoy!

Thanks for the update. Hopefully, DL partners will accept the electronic card with minimal issue. AZ lounges (and mixed FTers' experiences) come to mind, particularly because the electronic membership card does not say SkyTeam Elite Plus. At least on my iPhone app.
If possible, it'd be great to add in - largely to avoid confusion at some partner lounges.

Thanks Man! I appreciate that. From now on, I can have eboarding pass. I don't have print the boarding pass at home anymore. I am getting my new iPhone within 4 or 6 weeks. I think it's great idea.

Fly Delta app for Android and iPhone update
It does say STE+ on my GM card. Right next to the Delta Skymiles. In tiny leprechaun handwriting like the physical cards XD

I suppose it might be more visible on a tablet. Oh wait, the app still doesn't work on Nexus tablets... :TD:

Just used this this morning. I checked a party of two in online at delta.com (easier to input passport information, etc.), and while I still received numerous warnings that I'd need to check each person in on their individual phone for eBoarding passes to work, I checked in anyway.
Sure enough, each passenger could pull up their eBoarding pass on their individual iPhone once I did this. Worked like a charm.
This is a huge feature-add. Props to the Delta team for including it.
Yes, it still takes a very long time for each step to load in the iPhone app, but at least we're getting very useful new features.

Sometimes I think DL IT has 2015 vision - as in that's when we'll see things that work properly.
Sorry, couldn't help myself.
Seriously, though, the DL app is usually quite good at doing the basic things it's supposed to do. My biggest gripes are the occasional long load time and lack of Android tablet support, but good to see that they're continuing to give attention to the apps.
