Paper vouchers (or certificates): traceable and replaceable?

Are paper vouchers or certificates traceable and replaceable?

If so, is it a difficult and lengthy process for Delta to complete?

(It doesn't show up on the SkyMiles account.)

Define paper voucher.

As far as I'm aware, DL doesn't do anything paper anymore.

Hmm.

After IRROPS, an agent said he was printing out a voucher and subsequently handed over some documents. They were approximately boarding-pass size.

Do they keep records of vouchers printed out at the gates?

More or less. They have had to look in my PNR a few times to look it up, but it can be done. Shoot an email or give them a call to get your number. It will be helpful if you have your confirmation number.
