I did my best with the given information gathered at the moment. My HYPOTHESIS is that 6301 will stay at the museum permanently, only reason I even bring that up is because although N779NC went to the Carolina's Aviation Museum, it was still scrapped a few years after being an exhibit. 6302-6306 will probably be scrapped. It appears that 6307-6316 (all lined up in the above photo) may be sticking around a while longer. No particular updates on 6302 and 6306, but 6303-6305 are all currently being parted out at MZJ.

Not tracking, but the late JFK-AMS flight KL644 had been a 747-Combi, then alternating the Combi with a 787. A check of the first week of April shows that continuing. 3 or 4 days a week 747, other days 787. I'v flown it a few times and either way a nice ride in business. If you are in business, 1A is a single seat in the nose.
I had flown 1A recently from IAH to AMS. I believe 744 on this route is ending soon.

1A on the KL 747-400 is quite the unique experience. It is not everyday that as a commercial passenger that you can almost look forward out the window from your seat. It would have been even nicer if the space for a window back behind the TV screen was not blocked off.

I know I at least speak for some people when I say it would be nice to keep it up for keeping track of the retired birds, and seeing which are scrapped and which are given a new life or just sit in MZJ. I really wish MSP or DTW could have gotten a 744 as well since ATL did. Of course ATL has the perfect place for one, DTW and MSP I am not sure where one would end up honestly.

Random question.
Did Delta have regular service to Europe from the US that used their 747s? I don’t remember any but friend said he flew it multiple times and seeing if that was the case.

DTW-CDG and DTW-AMS were occasional 744 routes back in 2015. DL98 was my first and second time on a 747 (6305 & 6307) so yes they did do a few flights. the 744 did AMS DL134 if i am not mistaken.
