Not from a V class fare. IIRC upgrading domestic flights with miles would require a K fare or higher, even if upgrade inventory is available.

Also, if the cabin looks full and RU medallion upgrade inventory is already 0, then it is highly unlikely that there is RP inventory for mile upgrades either.

14 of 16 show open in first so they must be holding off upgrades. Coach is 99% full. 4 days before departure. Looks like it will be a nail biter at the gate.
