checked bag question

Maybe i'm just not very bright but I cannot see (DL website) if there is any special allowances for checked luggage going to Europe as a DM. Do DM's get 3 bags? 2 bags?

For Y, it is 2 bags, 3 bags for BE.

2 bags at 50 lbs or 70? Does being a DM matter (extra allowances)?

2 bags at 50. DM, PM, GM, FO - doesn't matter going to Europe.

Hi, Looking to find out the free checked baggage allowance for paid first class within the US including Puerto Rico? Web site says 3 each at up to 70lbs.. is this correct? We got a great fare for an anniversary trip.
Thanks for any info!

Related baggage allowance question...

Once upon a time, in a land that seems far far away, passengers transferring to international flights within 24 hours were given a free checked bag on a local flight to the airport from which the international flight is leaving (at least United used to do it). Does Delta have this policy?

The flights (local and international) were bought separately and I don't have any status with Delta other than being a member of Skymiles.

If it's seperate tickets, they might do so, but I would plan on paying.

Another baggage question for a Delta newbie.
We have 4 people travel together. One of us is Skyteam Elite Plus from China Airlines.
The rest of three have no status.
Do all of us have free 2 baggage allowance traveling within US?
Thanks

No - they will only get one free bag if the flight was booked with a Delta AMEX for US domestic flights. Otherwise it is $25 for a 50 lb. bag.
You'll get 2 bags at 70 lbs. as a ST elite.

If they are all in the same reservation should the ST E+ status allow all traveling the same luggage allowance? (DL elite status does transfer to others in the reservation).

If you do a through-check to the international flight, usually that takes precedence.

Is this a separate ticket just for USA domestic travel? Or is it part of an international itinerary?
