SDC valid routing question
Good morning all,
I am currently booked on a A fare AUS-ATL. I have the time to SDC and pick up a connection to earn more MQM's. On DL.com, AUS-ATL gives you the option to connect in MSP and DTW. Are those the only 2 cities I can add a connection in? For example, DL flies AUS-SLC and SLC-ATL, but I don't think I can force that connection.
Thanks for the help. Please save the "why would you drop a direct flight for a connecting flight" speech.

SLC is not a valid connecting point on any AUS-ATL itinerary.
Depending on your fare, you might not be able to switch to a connecting flight; quite a few of the A fares are filed as nonstop/direct routings only.

You need to look at the fare rules for your ticket to determine valid routings.
