No way to know for sure, but I'd "bet the over" on them selling MQMs at the end of the year. It's too much of an easy money maker for them not to.

How long does it usually take to get your Medallion credentials? I qualified some time ago and called them after 9 weeks passed without getting anything in the mail. They said they'd resend, but it's already been another 3 weeks...

You should have it by now (twice, if what you say is true).

In the upper right corner, in a box named "SKYMILES MEMBERSHIP", should be displayed your current status (you will have to be logged in to see this). If it is showing what you are expecting, follow the link to [RE-ORDER]. If it is not showing your status as expected, you will have to contact CS again.

Yeah, my status is there, and I triple-checked that the address on file is correct. I guess I'll see if that RE-ORDER button works.

There's no "loophole." There are a finite number of ways to earn MQMs and they have been discussed extensively on this forum.

Delta Cert no longer counts in MQDs
 

Just used my Choice Benefit $200 cert and on the purchase page my nominal MQDs were reduced by the $200.

I used one earlier in the year and with that one it was included in the MQDs (that is, the full fare + Delta fees showed as MQDs)

I'll have the spend waiver, so the MQDs don't really matter to me, but I thought it might be of interest to some.

Of course, it could post with the $200 after the flights. Not holding my breath, though.

I know it's not permitted to buy/sell MQMs but is there an exchange somewhere?
 

a lot of my travel this year has been regional carriers outside the US (where i'm temporarily stationed for work) and therefore not on delta. without a big mileage run at the holidays, i'll end up loosing my GM status for 2014. obviously, i want to avoid that.

so, before i start planning that trip, i wanted to know if there is anywhere (here on ft or elsewhere) where people can gift miles, offers, etc.?

I've taken 3 flights paid with various cert's this year:

- The 2 voucher flights taken before the MQDs were showing on .com displayed the MQDs as expected when they added that in (although I did have to call to have 1 corrected).

- The 1 voucher flight since did not show the MQDs until the day after the MQM credit appeared (MQMs appeared as usual at ~24hrs & the MQDs appeared at ~48 hrs after landing). However, the full MQD credit was there, including the portion paid via voucher.

Nope, enhanced award inventory from higher status is only for domestic coach.
