Same here. Easy come - easy go.

Same bonus miles posted here but got delta.com booking bonus of 1000 as opposed to a middle seat bonus. Also worth noting they appeared prior to even taking the flight and I had long since cancelled that trip. Is there some type of bonus mile promo for booking direct to JFK going on right now?

delta moved me to the middle seat from an aisle seat due to an equipment change. i did not opt for 500 miles to accept a middle seat, i was forced into one and the 500 miles were an 'apology'.

i would never choose 500 miles over a more comfortable seat.

Looks like the mysterious postings were tests of the real bonuses that went out today. In Dec DL ran a contest to try and win a seat on a charter flight from NYC-LAX called "nonstop NYC."
