Dedicated Flat Bed Routes and domestic lie-flat / flat bed routes

Ok, so I've been keeping score in my head and on my blog, but thought I'd start a thread here in an effort to be more efficient.

Routes With Flat-Beds

Domestic 767 Lie-Flat Review

Domestic 757 Lie-Flat Review

Domestic A330 Lie-Flat Review

Domestic 777 Flat-Bed Review

The idea behind this thread is to keep track of dedicated flat-bed international routes and current domestic routes where either the flat-bed or lie-flat seats in Business can be grabbed. Here is a start of which the information was obtained directly from Delta in December.

Please update the domestic lie-flat / flat-bed routes where you know from experience or can confirm an international route to be fully dedicated flat-bed.

Hi Deadtail - I thought the same. But I spoke with Delta and they confirmed that the A330 (which is lie-flat cradle) will be used on the LAX-NRT route, so it isn't a dedicated flat-bed route, even though it does have flat beds running on that route.

ATL-DUS seemingly switches back to the old 767 effective 3/30/13.

JFK-DUB will get the new config 763 with flat beds in June. I'll be on it in July . The specific config isn't yet on the DL site, but it will have a smaller J cabin than other 763s with 6 rows down the window and 7 down the center.

Dedicated Flat Bed Routes and domestic lie-flat / flat bed routes

MSP-NRT is usually 777, occasionally replaced with a 333.

The 330 does LAX-HND. I've never seen it on LAX-NRT.

Was on NRT-LAX a few days ago and was doing some searching for flight changes. Noticed that NRT-LAX was 777 / 330 every other day. at least for that week.

I'm thinking of taking this flight in February. But the delta.com seatmap is weird. It only shows 4 seats per row in business. Is that just the way it displays lie-flat? What type of DL 767 would this be on seatguru?

A 767 with 4 seats per row would have lie-flats with each seat having direct aisle access.. 6 seats across is the old style in a 2-2-2 config. It's either a 767-400 (only one config 76D) or one of the few 767-300 that has been modified (76H, 76T, or 76Z). The 76Z is a new 767-300 that isn't listed on the DL site, but will have have 6 rows down the windows and 7 rows down the center.
