Thought a coda was needed to close up this long ago thread, as earlier this month, cellist Lynn Harrell passed away. Last week a memorial was staged (virtually) on the Carnegie Hall Facebook site by over a dozen cellists to honour their friend and mentor. Not sure if Delta will allow his cello can inherit his SkyMiles. Play on Lynn, up there beyond where even Delta could take you, among the greats like the Bachs, Beethoven, Mozart et al. RIP
