AF availability timeframe?

AF availability timeframe?
Booked my first award ticket on AF for 25 sept but in coach as it was only seat available. Anyone familiar with how AF releases their O seats? Hoping something opens up on EF seat alert between now and then.

They are out there, but has to be well in advance. I got 2 O seats SFO-CDG and return in April but I booked back in May this year
