Nuts!

Last Monday I stopped by the IND sky club on my way to LAX and found a delightful nut mix. I can't remember the name, (maybe "premium nut mix") but it was definitely not the best of all sky club snacks - the English toffee nut mix - which was so suddenly taken away. This had pistachios, cashews, almonds and other nuts of the like and clearly took the place of that nasty Cajun BBQ mix. The attendant said it was new and she had just opened it. Then, the snack basket in flight included a large(ish) silver package of "gourmet nuts". It was mostly almonds, but better than peanuts!

Anyway, I was hoping this was a new thing, but on trips since last week, I haven't seen either offering in sky clubs or in flight (I've only been to SLC and LAX since). Has anyone else seen these, or am I (yes, I'm going to go there) nuts?

I have also seen nuts in the snack basket... it looks like the flight attendant was forced to pack the snack basket herself out of her personal snacks... (what was that stick of gum doing in there??)
