Add-ons with e-certificate?
I have a $400 ecert from VDB on a CAK-ATL business trip. I'm thinking about using it for an ATL-LAS RT that's under $300. It looks like I can go through the whole purchase process and add on the mileage booster, priority boarding, wi-fi, etc type add-ons and it adds on to the total ticket cost (I don't have to do it later). I'm still debating options, but does this work? If I use a $400 credit for a $300 flight can I just get the 3000 extra miles for $60 add-on taken out of what would be the wasted value of the voucher?
Alternative would be to find another trip I want to take and make it a multi-city to add part or all of that other trip to maximize value.

The remaining value of the voucher will be re-issuesd with a new voucher # though the expiration date will be the same as the original voucher. So don't feel that you must spend the entire $400 in one shot unless your original voucher expires soon.

Ahh, nevermind then. I thought it was use it all at once or lose it, but checking the T&C shows you are right:
Residual Value: If redeemed for less than its face value, the remaining residual value of this voucher may be applied to subsequent ticket purchases at www.delta.com/redeem. The expiration date of the original voucher will apply to any residual value. Residual value of a voucher may only be used by the original voucher owner.
Awesome.
