I participated in this promo and got the same lame 4000-point-minimum response. I wrote their CS, but I'm not holding my breath. I have to say, this Accor program is a nearly complete waste of time (unless you stay in areas where they are the only chain).

This seems very much like a classic "bait and switch." Not impressed.

Haven't seen any bonus miles either. Not optimistic.

None here either. Annoying, but then again, easy come easy go.

Asked about it on facebook, got this reply:

Thank you for contacting us.

You should receive your 500 bonus miles several days after the end of the promotion which is on the August 31st.
...
Feel free to come back to us if you have any other questions.

Take care.

Any update on the miles? I've been waiting two weeks... trying to remain optimistic.

Okay, fair enough. (I guess.)

Mine have transferred from Accor to SM ( I had less than 1000 accor pts), and a few days later the 500-miles bonus transferred too.

I found I got a "1000 mile booking bonus" (I have a upcoming trip in Jan that I booked in July) that poppedup on 8/29. I'm guessing that isnt the 500 miles I have been waiting for...

I have never been able to try because they messed up my passport and when I try to change it with the link in their email it fails.

I reccomend going on their facebook and complaining. That's what I did. It got the point accross, and if enough people do it then hopefully they will follow through.
