'null' Class?

Well this is for the KLM leg of the trip but since I booked this thru Delta and my conformation email is from them, I'll just post it here.

I booked the flight as First/Business but its saying my class is 'null'... does this mean I need to give Delta a call, or is this normal when booking thru Delta for KLM

I have never experienced this when booking through DL but only when I called in and they forced in some flights that DL cannot directly see. In such a case, DL.com is totally confused like showing First when you are actually in the cheapest class on KLM.

Now that's funny. 'null' is used in programming to represent values that don't exist. Somebody messed up in coding the email message!

Oh-oh... does this warrant a call to DL? I dont want to call and complain about something and have them be like "sir, there is no problem"

Their job is to help you. They screwed up by sending you an unintelligible e-mail. There may or may not be a problem, but do you want to take a chance? Don't wait for the airport. Call and resolve the issue.

/dev/null is where DL forwards suggestions from customers.

Looks like from looking at your itinerary, there is a lookup issue between the KLM fare class codes and what cabin it belongs to. Good job testing, DL.

Your best bet is to call DL and verify that you're booked in cabin you expected.

You should also examine our receipt.

Get the KLM PNR and look at your itinerary on their website.

As others have urged, do not wait to fix this.

Where would null be in the 31 flavors of boarding priorities?

Called Delta. After leaving the lady confused by explaining the whole "null" thing, I just decided to ask her what class I was in - and yes on her side it says Business.

Null is the code word for Kryptonium Medallion, which is also what the "K" in KLM really represents. Now you have let the secret out!
