That was fast

Miles for my return flights were posted fast. No sight of my outbound flights. Went through the miles request form on delta.com and the page said 30 days. Well, within hours I receive and email that my requested miles and segments have been posted.

I'm starting to like how SkyMiles is working.

Mine have been posting in one day for a long time, so this really isn't news.

There still are many places on delta dot dumb where the site is still user hostile, just count the number of times you have to click to do certain things such as shop at their on line mall.

All about managing expectations. Say 30 days and you'll be thrilled when it happens within a few hours, when really the miles should have posted by themselves without you having to contact DL.

True, however, I'm used to miles not posting for weeks after. My Avis rentals never ever posted to aeroplan. So Delta is being a nice surprise and so far a very positive one at that.

DL metal flights usually post for me one or two days after the flight.
AS metal flights, usually on the 5-6th day after the flight.

I am not familiar enough KL codeshare miles posting times.

I flew PIT/JFK/LAX yesterday. I got off the plane, went directly to the LAX SkyClub, and my miles were already there! I don't think I have seen them post on the same day since they merged the DL & NW IT "stuff"!

Usually, the miles seem to post the next day if the flights are early in the day, and the second day if the flights are later in the day.
