Yes. For $50,000 you can get the Jet card and get instant Diamond status and then have 2 years to spend the deposit on Delta flights!

This. I guess to someone with indiscriminate spending, $50K/year on an AmEx or $50K for the jet card would do it! Although, you don't get much in the way of air travel for that. The DL private jet flight I took in December (chartered for us, not paid out of my pocket), operated on a small aircraft (6 pax) at a cost of about $4200/hour. So, at that rate, for a $50K jetcard, you'd get about 12 hours of flight time! Expensive way, for sure, to earn DM!

Better than some of us that spend 16-20 hours traveling to Asia or Africa!
