How many miles did you actually fly this year?

All this talk about medallion inflation etc - what is your BIS vs EQM?

For me:

DL BIS 86k year end will be 90k

Total BIS = 115k w/LH etc

MQM's 130k year end will be 137k

Total with Rollover 173k (will end year at about 180k)

So... w/out inflation.....

PS all CC and other non-flying eqm activities have gone to the Mrs getting DM...

EQM (No roll over , No Amex) = 137,052

EQM/BIS = 1.454

I don't understand this. Why are you all not getting the MQMs for the miles you fly?

Crediting to other programs. I've flown 140K on SkyTeam this year with around 85% of those miles being Delta flights. I've only credited 35K MQMs to DL. Everything else to AS and Flying Blue.

Thanks for the explanation. I was puzzled, since it seems much more common to have MQM inflation with non-BIS miles.

Excluding class of service bonuses (that is the definition of BIS, yes?)

YTD BIS 80K + 18K left to fly so I should be just under 100K at the end of the year. There are, I think 3 segments that got the 500 Min.

In addition: 6K class of service bonus MQM (AF PV) and 10K from Amex so I should be at about 114K MQM for the year. Rolled over 79K last year so this year I'll only roll over 69K or so. Which is good because travel will probably be off next year (doing a month long bike ride which take up most of my "leisure" time)

Added: Another 11K BIS on an award ticket to LHR and back. 7 TATL trips so far this year with one to go. All on my own dime (but two were business related)

Added again: Another 2K BIS booked so I'll be at 102K Paid BIS miles this year. First time I've broken 100K!

238,603 MQM total this year

Will have another 10k MQM or more by year end.

I flew 190k miles this year of which 70k were on and credited to Delta. The rest were on other carriers.

I feel like a slacker.....

BIS - 48481
MQM - 51682

Got a trip to Hawaii on HA coming up. Pissed about that. Then a trip to DTW in first at the end of the year. So just a smidge more collection to happen.
