Upgrade probability Tracking

Just thought I would pass this on and see if any DL FT'ers have the ambition to put something like this together. It has proven useful to me and gets enough support to stay relevant and pretty accurate. Just FYI.

You will also notice in the comments sections the number of NRSAs are noted I have no idea how people KNOW but there you have it.

Yes. I know we have some web savvy guys and gals here and a database that can be filtered like the UA version would be nice for DL.

Would LOVE to see something like that for DL - gives a good idea where the break is if enough of us contribute.

I like the fact you can filter by day. You can see the patterns for each elite level by day and time...if I knew how to do it I would myself but I am an idiot.

The core is fairly straightforward -- just a form with the details that writes an entry to a database. No "rocket science." Doing the search and filters would take some time, but again it's mostly basic stuff.

Ongoing expenses would be for a domain name and probably very basic hosting services. On the order of $100/year (that is not $10 and not $1000 -- $100-$200 is an off the top of my head guess, depending on the hosting company). Using Google and Yahoo to validate log on probably removes the bulk of the day to day administration.

I certainly would be willing to help out, but I have too much on my plate now to be the lead on this, though.

The UA version was implemented and managed by a FTer as a shared service. You can use it but you should also report your own success failures to keep adding to the DB.

A while ago someone threw this together for DL stats: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spre...zljNTJkOTQ&ifq

I'll try to dig through and figure out who it was and how we can see the results from user submissions.

Ah, my bad.

It looks pretty much like MS-Excel or MS-access but an online version. I know how to use these tool, but how to translate them from a PC to a online script unfortunately I don't know.

But as Mad pointed out, it is basic stuff that much I know. But it is time consuming.

Very cool. I do hope somebody can put something like this together for DL. Unfortunately, I'm a dumbxss when it comes to this sort of thing.

I think this is something that I could put together in a few hours - I'll see how the work level is this week and give it a shot if I have time.
