Sometimes it is the little things...
On my LAX-ATL redeye last Sunday, the FA in first did something I have never seen before. She brought the FC snack basket around during the PDB process! This meant I was able to get my midnight snack (literally) and a drink, and then be asleep before we hit cruising altitude! I know this doesn't seem like a lot, but I always stay up to get a little snack on the redeye so I am not starving when I arrive at my destination. It allowed for a few extra minutes of sleep, and I really appreciated it.
Sometimes, it is just the little things that make a trip that much better!^

Agreed about the little things. Flew DL40 from MSP to LHR over night, seated in 30A. The FA in front noticed I was trying to burrow in for sleep as soon as we got going, so she reminded me to close the window shade and asked if I wanted dinner. (Who wants dinner after 2300?) That's not such a big deal. However, the FAs left me a landing card in the magazine/safety card pouch, which I really appreciated since they usually have a hard time finding them at the end of the flight (or run out). They also taped a couple of landing cards over the little windows in the emergency doors at row 30 to keep the cabin as dark as possible. I'd not noticed that on previous flights and definitely appreciated it.
