SkyPriority TSA Lines

If I am flying with an airline other than Delta can I still use the Skypriority TSA lines by flashing my Diamond card?

Thanks

My experience this week in Detroit was your Boarding Pass had to indicate you were eligible Sky Priority. But you can give anything a try, I guess.

My experience has been good, but it's airport dependent. If it's mass security (all airlines through the same channels) I've personally never had a problem when me and the SO (PM) travel together. If a security/terminal is not DL I've heard of rejections (aka - T3 at LAX).

I used the priority lane in Atlanta with my Kryptonium tag and nobody seemed to care. I think you can flash your YMCA ID card if you want.

Sorry, good question. That would be PHL.

My new gig has me flying PHL-ORF and US Air is a short hop and skip away in Barbie jets (220 miles). My FC flying days are over for a while.

Depends. You aren't out anything by trying.

I always try it when flying WN and if DL uses the same TSA entrance I have always been able to get through by flashing my PM card with no problem. (DEN, MDW, BNA). In fact at MDW it says on the sign who can use the priority lane it mentions Delta Medallians (doesn't say SP or Gold or higher like other airports) and doesn't say you must be flying that airline.

At airports where DL is out of another terminal usually doesn't work, but has a couple times, so just try it but make sure to allow enough time to go through the regular line (which can be long and makes you appreciate the SP line at certain times). At LAX and LAS I have never had any luck. SFO it worked once and was denyed the other time. At DTW I typically get denyed but once they waived me right through and another time I thought I was going to be denyed when she asked to see my boarding pass and then she said "You are a southwest RR member so you can use the lane (even though I am kettle status with WN". What really iritated me when I was denyed at DTW was the week before the one time I was denyed I was on Delta and some flashed a WN A-list card and was allowed in the SP line at DTW.

I am glad to hear they are enforcing SP at DTW. When the downstairs SP lane was there, the majority of the time the screener wouldn't check the boarding pass. It will be worth hiking upstairs if they are enforcing the SP lane now.

I had zero problem bringing a friend through using my SP boarding pass with her being on US Air (no status) in PHL. Didn't even bat an eye, just waved us through.

I agree with the YMCA card...I think it could work!

I flew yesterday WN out of MDW and used the First Class/Medallion lane (since I was flying in F***) and after you get your TSA check, about half way to xray, there's a guy asking to see your BP to verify your status for access to the priority line - (very nearly his words). I flashed my DL-DM card with my WN BP in hand - and he didn't even blink!

*** They say that EVERY seat is F on WN!

I had no trouble getting thru in PHL with my PM card last trip.

(I was taking advantage of my now-till-end-of-year free agent status and flying WN.)

Not to sound like a gamer, but for getting into the right lane, you could probably use any DL boarding pass from any date. I think they only look at the big font text, like a FC seat assignment designation. Just don't mix them up when you get to the TSA podium.

And, while we don't always agree, please accept my condolences on the USAir thing.

really depends on the airport - in DFW they have the SkyPriority Witch that demands to see a paper BP (will NOT accept an electronic version nor will she accept your elite card)
