Hi All,
This is not a question, but just a "hello" to all the participants.
Just found out about this awesome site. Very excited.
Compared to many of you to call me a lightweight would be an understatement. However I love flying and apologize in advance for asking ill-informed and/or naive questions.
I am a member of Delta Skymiles and largely it has been quite a maze to get through. I signed up for the AmEx credit card that earns me Delta points on every purchase. Not sure if this was the right way to go about it, but very slowly the miles have been accumulating. And hopefully, I'd be able to use them to get a little discount on a ticket to Moscow, Russia.
Thank you in advance for any help I may get here. And very glad to be here!

Welcome, Anton!
The DL AMEX is the right way to kick off your account. Use it for everything you can possibly buy with a credit card. Use skymilesshopping for all your online purchases. It's a great way to maximize mileage earnings on purchases you'd be making anyway. Happy flying!

Only problem is then I end up sleeping through take off and 3/4 of the flights and don't have time to get my drink on - besides the fact I tend to snore pretty badly when I combine recreational pharmaceuticals and alcohol. The rest of FC gets really

Welcome aboard, antonzakh!
Assume you mean the Delta AmEx card since that's the one that gives you Delta SkyMiles. If so, extraordinary benefits are coming your way...
