Question 10yr. Anniversary

Any recommendations on an exotic location to take the wife for our 10yr via Delta? I don't think they fly to Bora-Bora (BOB).

Do you prefer sun, sand, shopping, sites? What is Exotic to you? I think that would be the question...

Get remarried in Vegas... by Elvis

Go to Singapore if you are into delicious food!

Get tanned on any of a dozen beaches in Hawaii, the Carribbean, or even fabulus and exotic Guam...

Go to London, Paris, Rome, Toyko... just to look around...exotic to me

Maybe you can let us know what kind of thing she likes to do...

I went to Tahiti on my honeymoon and it was unbelievably beautiful and romantic. It has lovely beaches, beautiful resorts, great spas, etc. It is definitely expensive. But if my husband were to take me back to an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora, I think he might win every argument for the next few months.

seychelles via AF - gorgeous! - assuming you also have hotel points to use.

I'm surprised I'm the first to suggest ATL.

Definitely Tahiti, but your AF tix will only get you as far as PPT, and then you must take an Air Tahiti (NOT Nui) interisland flight to Bora Bora (BOB) -- about $400 per pax R/T. I'd suggest going to Moorea (MOZ) instead; a $15 30-minute ferry ride from PPT, and just as beautiful, with more to do.

I did this last summer and had a blast. 120k Delta for Air France JFK-Paris (Stop), Paris to Seychelles on Air Seychelles which was really interesting. Then SEZ-CDG (23 hour layover), CDG-JFK.

$250 in fees per ticket.

FYI SPG just reduced Le Meridien Barbarons a category, so now its a super affordable Category 4 (10,000 pts a night)

I did trip reports for anyone interested

Intro
JFK-CDG
CDG-SEZ
Le Meridien Barbarons and Seychelles

SEZ-CDG
CDG-JFK
