DCA Sky Club access on AS codeshare/other AS codeshare issues
Hey all,
In a few weeks, I'll be flying DCA-LAX-SFO, with DCA-LAX on AS and LAX-SFO on DL. I'm an AMEX Plat holder.
Just wondering if I'd be able to get into the DCA Sky Club with my AMEX Plat, or because I'm not on DL metal for that leg, would I not be able to? I'm thinking that because I'd also have a same-day flight from LAX-SFO, I'd be able to access the club, but I just wanted to check.
Also, I'm attempting to pick seats for my AS flight, but have been unable to choose any preferred seats. Has this been a problem for anyone?
Thanks all. Still trying to figure out how this AS/DL thing works.

Club Access - you should be fine. The terms say same day travel on the airline, in this case Delta. The Delta leg should be sufficient.
People have had trouble accessing the preferred seats. Assuming you do have Delta elite status (not clear from your profile/post), if you have the Alaska PNR, try logging into the Alaska website and try selecting a seat there. If that doesn't work, just call Alaska and they should be able to handle it for you.

But the OP has a DL flight that day, even though it does not originate or end in DCA. Thus I believe meballard is correct.
