Contract Security at JFK

I had an experience with contract security at JFK and wanted to know FTers suggestions on whether to write a letter or just forget about it. I flew from JFK to AMM on 2/21 (I just got back) and had my first experience with post-TSA security at the gate by contracted security. For anyone not familiar, you have to go through the exact same process as at the primary TSA-manned security checkpoint-- no liquids over 3.4 oz, shoes off, WTMD.

These security people made TSOs look like they were trained by Miss Manners. The screeners literally screamed at the pax constantly. In particularly, one female screener yelled in my ear for not moving down the tables after the x-ray even though there were 2 people ahead of me so there wasn't anyplace to go. Then she stood behind me and yelled at me again for touching my bag that was 3/4 of the way out of the x-ray so I could get out of the way and threatened that I could lose my bag. Then she did it to other people and just generally yelled. The passengers commented on how unreal it all was.

This for a flight that was less than 1/3 full. I can't imagine what it is like for a full flight.

I should have asked for a supervisor then and there but the area was small and packed and I just wanted to get on the plane for my vacation. Should I write an email to someone or just forget about it? I don't want anything other than to let Delta (or whomever contracts these people) to know how their pax are treated and maybe they'll rethink that contract next time it comes up for renewal. That woman shouldn't work behind a McDonald's counter.

As an aside, we had a great crew for that flight.

Sometimes these workers go a bit over board, and they should not do this for a living.
You should have asked for a manager, I always make it a habit to ask for a manager when something like this happens.
