First trip with the new DM tags today, one on the laptop case, one on the roller board, two flights, one mainline, one RJ, after the RJ flight with planeside bag drop, the DM tag on the roller board came off the plane with a 70 degree bend in it. Straightened it out but now it has a noticeable ripple in it, oh well, guess they were not field tested before deciding on the design.

Like the cables, but I've used some I have from RedOxx to attach my bag tags and business card for years.

Now to reach DM for 2012. 24k to go!

Got my package, but I probably won't use the tags. The metal is sure to bend, and the edge might do some damage. Also, how can you be a stealth ninja voyager with all the noise they will make?

Delta has made it even easier to get people to notice who the DYKWIA's are. Not only do the kettle's notice the shiny object, but there is now built in sound!!!!

For me, the tags wil stay at home as souvenirs....

Wife's GM pack arrived a few days ago, but nothing for this DM yet...

I like the new DM tags - I think you are missing the security feature if someone steals your bag- You will hear it.@:-)

If they are that potentially sharp, how long before some TSA guy/gal stops us and tells us that we can't take that on the plane.

Received today. Nice steel leashes. I had already picked up a couple regular ones from the SC last week. FWIW I would have preferred the wallet card to have been metal.

To get the thread back on topic. It definitely says "additional 50% MQM on ALL flights" No asterisk or superscript number. I say Delta needs to step up and honor their marketing.

Nice improvement over 2010 packet
 

As someone who complained about how cheap and tacky the 2010 packet was, I applaud DL on the improvements in the metal tags and metal straps + additional "job well done" certs. ^^

Even the mailer with plastic wrap was classier than the 2010 packaging. ^

Suggestion for 2012: make the tags smaller (like the NW PM tags) and add the Charter verbiage back.

Me too except there seems to be an issue. I now have 26 complaint emails submitted for the 26 flights I have taken this year. None of them are giving me 50% bonus MQMs. I will be OK with it if they give me 7500 miles for each email though...;)
