Complex Booking Question

Hi guys, I'm looking into booking flights for my gf, her daughter, and me going from BDL to FLL in March. I'm trying to figure out if I can book my ticket paying for it and one of theirs using my delta reserve amex companion cert and the other one of theirs using miles. Is it possible to do this on the same reservation? I'm assuming I can't do it through delta.com. I only made FO for this year and neither of the girls has any status. These are all my miles and I'll probably use pay with miles for the mileage ticket because its closer to a penny a mile although it is less.
thanks
jbs

I believe you'll have to book them separately, then call up and ask to link the PNR's.

Can someone else confirm this?

Reservations with different forms of payment (or booking class, or many other attributes) by definition can not be in the same PNR.

PNRs can only be split, not combined. As Gargoyle mentioned, they can "link" them, but it doesn't really do anything.

I agree they should be booked separately and it should be easy to select seats in the same row -- unless all three of you want windows !
