changing flight question
I was originally scheduled to be on a flight from TPA-ATL-BUF on Monday Jan 10. I called and changed my flight to TPA-DTW-BUF. I have an assigned seat for the TPA-DTW portion but I was told my seat for the DTW-BUF would be assigned at the gate. When I went on delta.com to try and select a seat it says none are available. I was wondering if anyone knows what this could mean?? Can I assume this flight is oversold and that I may not get to BUF?? The flight number for the DTW-BUF is 3719.
Thanks.
Thanks.

EF says all 0's for your flt so it may well be oversold. As for the set assignment, I assume you have no status and because of the full flt situation, DL is probably holding back on seat assignments.
You will know more when you check in with the gate.

It's zeroed out on EF. But generally volunteers, if needed, will handle any denied boarding in an oversold situation. Since the airlines always sell more seats than they have, counting on no-shows, some seats are always held back for the gate agents. You're likely to be ok.
