Question: Does the Onboard Manifest Denote Medallions in Coach Cabin?

We have all seen the FC passenger list tacked to the wall of the FC galley. But do the FAs have a list of DMs, PMs etc that did not get upgraded and are therefore in the coach cabin?

I know that when NW was still running the Int'l routes, the Purser had a manifest that denoted such statuses in Coach. Not sure if this remains the same now with DL (and also not sure about domestic flights).

Wouldn't a more accurate statement be DM's and PM's in coach because they bought coach tickets and did not get a complimentary upgrade?

I know at a minimum all the Golds/Plats/Diamonds in coach are on the FA's manifest. Not sure about Silvers.

Yes, the flight attendant manifest does include that information.

Not sure about domestic flights, but I know they do on international flights. NRT-DTW I mentioned to 1 flight attendant I was having a problem with the audio system. Within a few minutes pursor came to my seat, addressed me by name, identified me as a valuable customer/PM, apologized for the problem, and offered a voucher.

Isn't that effectively, Zone 1?

Yes, it includes the status for all Diamond, Platinum and Gold members. Only includes Silver if they are in first class.

Very interesting. I was not aware DL excluded FO's in Y.

I flew on DL78 JFK/TXL in Y last month, and I was recognized TWICE by FA's! First, I was thanked for being a PM and given a BE amenity kit. Second, another FA thanked me for being a PM and offered me a cocktail, way before any drink service was started!!

I have been recognized the couple of times I ended up in the cattle car on domestic flights. Drinks have been offered and drinks have been accepted! Nice touch I think!^

It's there yes, I've never seen it paid attention to as a DM in the back.

I have been thanked for my business by name once or twice in coach for being a million miler, but not for PM. I thought it was the MM status, but guess not. At any rate, extremely rare. I still recall the name of the FA that made the effort. It's a nice touch, too bad so sporadic.

Haha! Just some collectibles. (Side note - why did both of my posts get deleted?)
