Congrats of the first "OMG, where's my rollover!" post of the new year (okay, it may have been a bit too low-key to qualify). But I'd expect you've been around long enough to at least know that it's not at all "very strange".

Big Eddie B just called me. He said there’s a big announcement coming and Delta is going to do away with rollover MQMs.
