When will MQM rollover actually occur? 2018/2019 Thread

By the end of this year I will have 220k MQM's this means I will rollover 95k and only need 30k next year to re-qualify for Diamond in 2011. My question is when will I start banking MQM's for rollover in to 2011? As soon as I re-qualify for Diamond e.g. if I do 100k MQM's next year I will rollover 70k or only as I pass the nominal 25/50/75/125k points for MQM's actually earned in 2011 in which case 100k will only earn me 25k rollover?

Um, I think I understand your question. Once you have earned the 30K in 2010 to qualify for Diamond for 2011, everything else from your total 2010 MQMs rolls over to 2011 to re-qualify for something for 2012.

For myself, I should only be so lucky Safe travels.

And by re-qualifying early in 2010, it means you'll get, conservatively, 15+ months of actual DM benefits.

PMs who barely hit 125K in 2009 can look forward to 10 or 11 months of actual DM benefits, depending on whether the program takes effect in March or April.

Question Will 01 January be "Zero" MQM day or Rollover Day?

What's the betting here? Will we log in on 01 January and see our rollover miles, or will we log in and find that the rollover miles are something that the IT team is still struggling to implment?

I'm leaning towards the latter.

I hope to see rollover implemented on 1/1/10 but am preparing for it not to be ready and will not be disappointed if it doesn't work out that way.

Delta.com FAQs just says:

"Q. When will the Rollover MQMs be deposited?

A. The MQMs will be deposited into members' accounts in early 2010 to add to the 2010 MQM balances for 2011 qualification."

For starters, all the flights through 12/31 would need to be posted before the rollover could be calculated, so I'm not expecting to see the rollover on 1/1.

Yeah I'm thinking it'll be when they finalize everyone's elite status, making sure all MQM from credit cards, other promos and all partner flights are in....which is why the program year starts on March 1

2010 MQMs ... 0!

MQM balance is now 0! I wonder how long it will take for DL to update the system for the rollover MQMs?

Medallion Qualification Miles Rollover From 2009 to 2010: When?

I ended the year with 61627 MQM. I am seeing:

Medallion® Qualification Miles (year to date): 0

Medallion® Qualification Miles (previous year): 61627

When do I get the extra 11627 miles moved to current year MQM?
