If you're trying to fly on the aircraft, be warned: equipment is always subject to change. Sometimes 772s (777-200ERs) are substituted.
However, you're guaranteed the 77L on flights between ATL and JNB, LAX and SYD, and DTW and HKG. (Putting 772s on those routes would cause a splashdown.
