Party of 4 with Amex Companion Cert
Hi,
I'd like to buy 4 tickets (2 using the companion cert and the other 2 paying regular price) on a single reservation so all of us get the free first checked bag with my Delta AMEX.
But couldn't get it to work online. Called reservations and they said I needed to make separate reservations and thus my other 2 would not get the free bag. And that they couldn't combine the reservations after the fact.
Am I out of luck?
Has anybody else come across this and was successful?
