Aero Mexico and Delta Code sharing

Local news in Los Angeles is reporting that the FAA has lowered the Safety rating for Aero Mexico and as a result Aero Mexico is no longer able to code share with any Domestic airlines. One might wonder what effect this will have on there relationship with Delta and Sky team. The news is stating you should re- check all of your code share ticketing on Aero Mexico through Delta to make sure it is still being honored.

There's an advisory about AeroMexico linked on the main page of delta.com.

This development is several days old. This actually has nothing to do with safety on AM specifically. It is a government to government statement... the FAA is saying that Mexico does not have enough safety inspectors to keep the system honest.
