Winglets

So I Binged “winglets” to get some idea of what (and why) they were.

Increased fuel efficiency is a good thing but, from the perspective of the passengers in the aircraft with winglets, are there other noticeable benefits?

I'm sorry, "Binged" just does not work for me.

I'll take Catchphrases that don't work for 400, Alex.

Yea, possibly lower fares due to increased efficiencies.

[QUOTE=Jaimito Cartero;14282722]I'm sorry, "Binged" just does not work for me.

I do understand - and this is the first time I ever wrote it and now appreciate that it looks just like the past tense of binge.

Bear with me please, my son works for the Evil Empire - on the Bing team - and because I am counting on his support during my years of decline, I am working very hard on striking the verb "google" from my vocabulary.

(and would someone please PM me with instructions of how to get a quote in a nice little box)

Plane doesn't fall out of the sky (winglets can mean added efficiency which means that the plane can fly further which can stretch the limits of a plane).

That's because you "binged" it. Now, if you had just used The Google. Well, now, we wouldn't be having this here discussion.
