You had even worse luck than I did; in my case the third vest was the charm. I sure hope the real vests on the planes are better than the training vests!

I remember having a stiff left shoulder for about two weeks after working with atldlff to pull everyone into the raft. At least I didn't pitch out of the raft and into the water as our illustrious leader did.

I also remember Canarsie and I working as gate agents on Concourse D and at a gate where we were boarding three different flights at the same time. I'm sure somebody who thought they were flying to Dothan ended up in Charlottesville.

Yep, I am guilty! After sleeping maybe five hours over the four days, I realized how worn out I was when I couldn't even climb in that raft.

I volunteered to work the gates in ATL again the Wednesday before Thanksgiving! Busiest Airport on one of the busiest travel days of the year, I am guessing I will see some REAL action then. A*TD

I also remember the two of us sitting at the T Concourse Starbucks hours earlier--the only two people on the whole concourse--after leading the Sunday Gate Agents over there, and wondering if we would make it through the rest of the day, and....we did it!!!!.

Well, it seems like some UA customers got to be gate agents and drive jetbridges:

Ahhh - Good memories of RWT DO II -
and I had forgotten about this one.
Nice reminder - my other half has "ditch & recovery" training tomorrow as a corporate pilot...

Didn't you see them? Maybe your eyesight isn't good enough to use those simulators.
