That is excellent news, but I would like a formal confirmation from her, as well as a time to schedule her.

Could somebody please tell her to e-mail me at [email protected] so that I may communicate with her directly?

Thank you in advance.

Yeah, right.

Anyway, I have just confirmed a meeting this Wednesday with the manager of one of the places where we expect to have dinner either Friday or Saturday evening, and I have been in communications with the manager of the other place for dinner, with whom I hope to confirm a Thursday meeting after our meeting with Delta Air Lines on Thursday morning regarding the specifics of the Road Warrior Trainings for the event this year.

Are we busy or what?!?

Anyway, once we have more details, we will post them as soon as possible in this thread. Please stay tuned, as there are a lot of exciting developments going on behind the scenes!

I'd love to meet Deltalina.

Here's a pic from a FT'er who met her not so long ago:

Based on that photo, we have to question her judgment. Why would a representative of DL associate with such a lowlife?

forgive the question....

Just catching up with FT after being away and then ill for a few days. I'd like to register and wonder if there's any availability left (a long shot I know).

If I go online and register, I'm assuming I will not be charged unless I'm allowed to go. Can anyone confirm?

I have to agree with that comment.

So here's a picture of her associating with some non-FT personnel:

Hope you're feeling better!

I'm not an organizer of this event but considering the late hour out East, I'll throw in a comment.

There appears to still be some limited slots for this DO but don't hesitate to register.

And, yes, you'll be charged a $95 registration fee pp which is non-refundable but is transferable (presuming you can find someone to transfer it to) if you should choose not to attend.

There is an additional registration fee for the Road Warrior Training sessions on Saturday which, I assume, is also non-refundable.

Hope to see you there.

As of now, there are still 12 slots open for the event in general, but this can change at any time in either direction.

Here are the current percentages of capacity per venue for the event:

Delta Executive Engagement — 90%
Lunch Sponsored by Delta — 88%
Delta Heritage Museum — 80%
Delta Operations Control Center — 94%
Delta Technical Operations Center — 94%
Atlanta Airport Fire Station Tours — 76%
Road Warrior Training I — 60%
Road Warrior Training II — 20%

As we correctly predicted all along, nothing sold out as of yet, and there is still plenty of time to register...

Is it possible to check-in at the Hilton earlier than 3PM? There is a flight that leaves PVD at 5:45AM, arriving in to ATL at 8:00AM, but, when I made my reservation, it did not show an option to request an earlier check-in time.

Also, I'm still willing to volunteer, if necessary.

Normally there's a box for comments that appears at the confirmation stage and that is the spot I use to request any special items. You can also go back into your reservation and select the "change" option and that will allow you to add a request to the comments section of the reservation. I just did it on mine and nothing else about the reservation was modified

just wondering if....

During the DO will be get to see....

How a jet bridge operates?
How the luggage is sorted behind the scenes and sent out to the planes?

and for us geeky/nerdy types...

Just what do the "bean counters" do and how do they do it? Of course most of this is proprietary, but whatever they can tell us would be kinda cool for those of us who work in related fields where optimization is a big deal...
