I think the positioning fllight from SEA thru ATL to PIT, using an Alaska segment were posted correctly. Saw that a man named Pinto is the one to go to correct mileage postings. Couldn't find his name again or his email in this massive thread. Assistance would be appreciated.

His contact info has been posted many times in this thread but since you're relatively new to FT :), here you go:

Please consider reaching out to DL Customer Service first to resolve your issue(s) before e-mailing Kevin. That way Kevin doesn't get overwhelmed by FTers and we still go through proper channels first. That's just my opinion though... :cool:

ALL Delta for me with a few RJs.

I've read this thread before booking a ticket with stopovers--and saw that it does allow stopovers and you still get the EQMs....here is what I booked:
STL-LGA (stop)-MAD-(stop)-MSP-STL.
Does this qualify for the 25K or the 10K?

Right now it's showing up as "10K US/Caribbean bonus" after I flew STL-LGA segment only. Today I fly JFK-MAD. I can't imagine the computer will auto-adjust, but you never know.
Should I call when I get back from MAD, or is it a mistake I made when ticketing because there's a stopover in the US before I get to Europe?
Thanks!

It probably will auto-adjust (assuming you're eligible for the 25k bonus, which the vague T&C should allow). I had an issue with an SFO-ATL segment not posting until after the ATL-BNA segment. I'd been given the 5k hub bonus, and then it figured out the itinerary and gave me the 10k bonus. (Well, it handed them out in half increments.)

Go ahead and wait until after you get back. Like mtkeller said, the computer might be able to figure it out. If not, give it a couple days, and then call Delta.

Happy travels!

Dying for a good trip over Thanksgiving. I know MOT29 post some PIT-Germany fares. Any other goodies people are eyeing?

Feel free to PM. Would also be interested in company.

DMQM + 10K Promotion - mileage calculation question

I am DL Plat-elite
I have registered for DMQM + 10K Promotion in timely manner
I took PIT-DTW-ORD-DTW-PIT flight
As I understood, this trip would yeild :
Flight MQM Plat bonus Total RDM Promo MQM Total MQM Grand RDM
----- ----- --------- --------- ---------- ---------- ----------
PIT-DTW 500 500 1000 500 1000 2000
DTW-ORD 500 500 1000 500 1000 2000
ORD-DTW 500 500 1000 500 1000 2000
DTW-PIT 500 500 1000 500 1000 2000
===== =====
4000 8000
+ 10000 BONUS
=======
18000
Is this right ? Do I expect 4000 MQM and 18000 RDM in my account ?
OR
the Promo DMQM does not count towards the Grand Total RDM, meaning
I get 2000 MQM+2000 Promo MQM, but will get 2000 MQM + 2000 Plat bonus + 10000 bounus = 14000Grand Total RDM

NOTE:
I have taken a couple of this trips and each one has shown up differently on my account for credit posting !

Thanks for clarification on "fine prints" of rules/regs of this promotion.

I'm doing RDU-MUC. No fancy routing, just through ATL. Wasn't bad, $742 and I had $400 in credits.

mtkeller Oct 21, 2010 12:01 pm

Bonus RDM and MQM are calculated separately. Should be 14K RDM and 4K MQM.

Also, this should be in the 10-billion page thread on this topic, and I've asked the mods to take care of it.

I'm doing BNA / HKG / BNA on Nov 5 (Friday) to Nov 8 (Monday). I am driving to BNA and back (2.5 hours) from Louisville.

I will get 33,400 MQM (16,700 X 2). Well worth the $1,225 all in price ($0.036 per MQM mile). :)

Also, spendable miles will be 16,700 + 16,700 (PM bonus of 100%) + 25,000 ("hub city double MQM" program bonus) = 58,400 ($0.021 per mile).

I think you miscalculated your total...you get more. If the actual miles are 16,700 you get:

16,700 BIS/MQM
16,700 PM Bonus
16,700 MQM Bonus
25,000 intl bonus (BNA)

75,100 total spendable

My SYD was like the above...19,866 BIS/MQM + 19,866 MQM bonus + 19,866 PM bonus + 25,000 + 500 random middle seat bonus. :) ~85,000 miles in all.

delayedinLGA Oct 21, 2010 2:22 pm

Can someone check my math?

I am doing PIT-DTW-SEA and back

I am calculating 4854 *2 (double EQMs) = 9708
Plus 10K miles for flying to SEA = 19708 total miles?

BDQBDQ Oct 21, 2010 2:34 pm

DMQM for PIT segment only ?

I did PIT-DTW-SEA and SEA-DTW-PIT.....I got DMQM for PIT-DTW and DTW-PIT.....but NO double for DTW-SEA and SEA-DTW !

Is this how it is suppose to work ? then, it's no good deal

Can someone varify = does this promotion gives out double MQM for the whole trip or not

Thanks

Your math works taking into account a fare h-q-k-l-u-t and having no status with DL at this time. Base medallion members get:

pit-dtw = 500
dtw-sea = 1927
sea-dtw = 1927
dtw-pit = 500
============
Regular MQM 4854
Bonus MQM 4854
Total MQM 9708
============
RDM 4854
Bonus RDM 4854
10K non hub bonus 10,000
Total RDM 19708

Any fare M or higher and you get the following:

M Class MQM 3641
Bonus MQM 3641
Total MQM 7282
=============
RDM 7282
Bonus RDM 7282
10k non hub bonus 10,000
Total RDM 24564

*** Remember to add your FO,GM,PM,DM bonus to RDM as well ***
