Crap. I hate the thought of driving to BNA for my personal trips, but this may be too good a deal to pass up.

Wonder why they picked PIT and BNA. I tried a few other airport codes, nada. It's not aimed at AirTran, or HSV would be included since AirTran just started service here in June.

delta.com/bnabonus

Course it says "eligible" members, so I probably ain't eligible anyway. :(

David

I went to the link and registered successfully. So, may not be targeted. Now, if I only lived near BNA.

Got the RDU invite......come on show CLT some love. Needless to say, i'll be making a few trips to RDU for the remainder of the year.

I signed up...this is too good pass!

GBadger Jun 17, 2010 5:38 pm

Now someone just needs to figure outthe cheapest way to string these all together.
A routing like:
rdu-atl-dtw-stl-slc-atl-bna-msp-atl-pit-atl-dtw-bna-msp-atl-stl-atl-msp-rdu, booked with 3 separate tickets would do quite well if the fares were right :).

awesome info on how to register for other cities. just waiting for the DC area info and i will be good to go. though i really am trying to quit the Delta habit. :D perhaps they will improve their award engine issues and then i will be back again. LOL

Wow. This is an exceptionally generous promo. Double MQMs for >50% of the year, and enormous RDM bonuses for the same amount of time. Note that these are all WN cities. I assume you can find some pretty cheap LUT flights to non-DL hubs and pick up an easy 10k every single time.

I'm going to paste a copy of the T&Cs as of today just below, as they sometimes have a way of changing over time. Note that the "refer Delta customer service representative to" # is same for all cities.

Needless to say, this would definitely drive my behavior if my originating cities (generally NYC and BOS) were included... DL would get paid int'l J tix from me that otherwise are up for grabs.

Did you get it to register for DCA? I can't get that URL to work.

Not sure if it'd help since I fly MEM-DCA every other week (not DCA-MEM). Still I suppose I could do a one way, then spend a few weeks routing DCA-MEM.

apolloms Jun 17, 2010 5:51 pm

the question is will the MQMs retroactively post for 2010 or will they be 2011 MQMs?

If you find a DC area airport that will work for this. Simply book a one way on the start and at the end of promotion and then do all RTs as inbound then outbound outta MEM instead of outbound and then inbound. Bonuses start piling up!
