Level Higher Than Diamond

Does Delta currently have any status higher than Diamond that is unpublished? I know they used to have the FC program, but got rid of it in the late 90s. Is there anything similar to UA Global Services or AA Concierge Key?

Even if there is not such a status on DL, are there instances of high rev passengers getting some sort of special services?

No. There was EP, but it is now gone.

They are one in the same. Before DM, EP was a revenue based level above PM. Benefits were generous at first then started to resemble the current DM level.

Executive Partner. It was by invitation only, and that invitation came in a "white envelope".

It was an unpublished level at Delta that was "above" Platinum.

In order to qualify, you needed to fly butt loads in higher fare classes. Actual miles and fares needed to qualify were never revealed.

Just looked into it and it doesn't look like EP stacked up to US GS by any means

The OP is referring to the legendary "flight club". However:

1. You don't talk about flight club.
2. You don't talk about flight club.
3. When someone says stop earning miles, or goes limp about mileage, even if he's just faking it, the flight is over.
4. Only two guys to a flight.
5. One flight at a time.
6. They fly without belts or shoes.
7. The flights go on as long as they have to.
8. If this is your first night at flight club, you have to fly.

Interesting post...

Does anyone feel that Diamond comes close to EP in terms of service and exclusivity?

Never heard of it. There was Flying Colonel, which really didn't have any official benefits. It was generally granted by Delta market to "high-flyers". Then, there was the very old EP program. Again, it didn't have a lot of "benefits" per se, but it was granted by Delta Marketing to senior leaders (think chairmen and CEOs) of companies with very significant relationships with Delta. After that came "White Envelope" EP. That was a program that had actual defined benefits. After the first year, they actually published a qualification criteria for existing EPs to "re qualify". Finally, they created the official Diamond level. According to former EPs, there is no longer any type of "special partnership" program.

By the way, all the programs I listed were from the pre-merger Delta Air Lines. I do not know what, if any "special" programs the premerger NWA had.

No surprise there. And EP is dead. Now it's worse. DM doesn't match 1K, PM may be about equal to 1P. FO is a joke.

And ... if you have to ask about flight club, you can't fly. You can, however, search.

Errr, sounds suspiciously like the "2% club".
