Two slow beeps at the gate when boarding

Hey All,

When boarding the GA scans your boarding pass, then a series of beeps are audible:

Two beeps spaced evenly - Usually what happens with most people.

A bunch of fast beeps - Emergency Exit Row passengers

Two slow beeps- ?????

What does two slow beeps mean? I've heard these when the GA scanned my boarding pass at MSY and ATL last week. Any help would be appreciated.

If its a slow beep I believe it means a paper ticket is required. Sometimes it happens even when no paper ticket is required, but I think it is 4 slow beeps though....

I am pretty sure that just means the GA's Hot Pockets are done. They have a Microwave under the podium.

Two slow beeps means a paper ticket is required or that your boarding pass was double scanned.

twice on the pipe if the answer is no
oh my sweetness
means you'll meet me in the hallway

All of you really know that the only sound that matters is when your BP is scanned and the little printer starts humming.

Most of us are too scared to submit a coach BP to be scanned precisely because that little printer may not start humming and we will lose our spot on the upgrade list!
