Upgrading to first class
when you check in online 24 hours in advance. Does anyone know what Delta charges for the upgrade on a flight from DTW to MEM? Is it even possible to do? Just curious on the cost.

Available at the gate, cost is determined by length of flight. It is based on availability after all Elites have been accomodated for the upgrade. Flying Hub to Hub, it is unlikely (but always possible) that there will be upgrades for sale.

Programs: Now just a lowly DL PM/1MM. This industry needs some competition. It's just not enjoyable anymore.

And LUT fares are not eligible for gate upgrade sales.
