DCA-RDU

Early last year I was flying DCA-RDU a couple times a week, right before they had a sky club at RDU. Now there is no direct route between DCA and RDU. Anyone know if this will return? My only other options are to fly AA or US. It's hard to justify flying through ATL when I can take a direct flight.
Thanks!

I would be hesitant to say never, but with the impending slot swap between DL and US (DL getting LGA slots, US getting DCA slots) it is unlikely that DL would be adding non-hub flying back into DCA - especially in markets that are already served by US.

You are probably going to have to make a decision whether to take the US/AA nonstops or connect on DL from this point forward.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Even when they did offer it, I was often one of 2-3 passengers on the flight.
