How does this delay get scored?

The NWA flight to Memphis and the Delta flight to ATL out of BTR are delayed this morning because they can't de-ice the planes due to the de-icing truck being "broke". As other airlines (Conti and AA for example) are departing just fine, does this delay get scored as weather or mechanical? Just curious.

There is actually a delay code for mechanical malfunction of GSE....thats what I would vote for. If the equipment wasn't broke they would have left on-time. If they didn't have the equipment at all then thats a different story. They could have easily contracted out the other airliners for their de-icing equipment but sounds like they didn't want to spend the money.
