MSP-DCA, how competitive?

Trying to decide whether or not to burn a PMU next month. Wondering how competitive MSP-DCA is likely to be on a Friday morning. Thanks!

Generally not that bad. Sun/Mon are bad.

Agreed. Even as a GM, I was upgraded on this route quite frequently on a Thurs evening. Friday morning you should have a good chance.

When do they expire? If you're not going to be able to use them anyway, might as well burn one and get something out of it.

2011. I have definite plans for 4 of them, but am not really sure if I'll end up using the other 2. I will never need to use them on my typical route, so this was a candidate if competition was heavier. Might just keep them for a rainy day if competition is light. Thanks!

Fri AM shouldn't be too bad. DCA-MSP on a Friday PM is a different story. I was WL #12 as a PM on B fare with 64 on the WL...

I've always had good luck on flights leaving MSP in that 7 a.m. bank on Friday mornings - generally these flights aren't too full and pretty easy to clear.
